About Digestion
The mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus make up the digestive tract. The digestive tract is about 30 feet of pipes for the purpose of processing food and eliminating waste. The liver, three salivary glands, pancreas, gallbladder, stomach lining, and the lining of the small intestine produce over 100 enzymes that have vital roles in processing and breaking down food for the digestive system.
When we chew food, we are breaking down and mixing saliva with food. When we swallow, the food is stored in the stomach where it is mixed with enzymes and broken down into smaller molecules. Protein is broken down into its original amino acids; fats are broken down into fatty acids; and sugar is broken down into glucose. When the food is broken down into a form the body can use, it is absorbed by the small intestine and enters the blood stream. The blood circulates the food throughout the body where it can be used by the body's healthy cells. The used dead cells are carried to the large intestine where waste, bacteria, and the dead cells can be eliminated.

Poor digestion
Poor digestion can be caused by any part of the digestion system malfunctioning. If we become malnourished in vitamins or minerals then the digestive organs and enzymes can become weak. If we become overly toxic, the toxins can play a damaging role on our digestive organs and lining of our digestional walls. Parasites and bad bacteria may lead us to poor digestion. Poor diet can weaken and degenerate our digestive system. Many healthy foods contain enzymes and nutrition that may help strengthen the digestion system. Poor foods contain little if any nutrition but do require nutrition to be broken down properly. A poor diet can deplete nutrition and promote poor health.

A calorie is measured by how much heat it takes to heat one gram of water by one degree Celsius. If the body takes in more calories then it burns then the body stores what's left over for a day it may need that energy. The body uses and stores glucose (sugar) for energy. Many foods like meats and some vegetables use more calories to break down than they provide. Most simple sugars provide way more sugar than used.

Detox

Detoxifying is eliminating unwanted and harmful material from the body. Elements you may want to eliminate would include built up body waste, parasites, heavy material, harmful bacteria and fungus. Most of us become toxic from our lifestyle and environment. When our body becomes toxic, our immune system can become over worked from trying to manage and eliminate the toxins. If the immune system can't manage the toxins then the toxins can build up in the body. Some can even crystallize in the liver, kidneys and other tissues and become very difficult for the body to eliminate.
Toxins can weaken tissue and prevent or alter healthy cell growth in the body. Being overly toxic can steal your energy, weaken the immune system, and promote disease.

Exercise

Staying active is very helpful in using the excess sugar stored in the body. Exercising does not require you to be extremely fit (unless desired.) Most can do very well with exercising by doing little things throughout the day like walking, taking the stairs instead of an elevator, playing with your children, or enjoying vigorous activities.

About Weight Loss
It has been recommended that crash diets and diet pills have not been the healthiest way to lose weight. These methods have shown to deplete the body of nutrition. When the body loses weight, the body burns more nutrition to process the excess weight. If the body is not supplied with nutrition during weight loss then a depletion of nutrition may cause many health issues. Most symptoms can range from hormone imbalance, imbalanced blood sugar, blood pressure, depression, fatigue and heart problems.
Weight loss should be a process of healthy eating, proper detoxification, and regular exercise. It's a change in lifestyle, not a trial and error.

Parasites

Over 85% of America has 2-5 pounds of parasites. Parasites can live in the body undetected for many years while the host may experience little or no symptoms. When parasite symptoms occur, parasites are great for mimicking digestive problems and intestinal problems. Parasites weaken the body by stealing nutrition. Parasites get their name because they feed off of the human flesh and/or the blood. There are hundreds of different types of parasites. Some parasites can grow over 20 feet long and live in the body for up to 25 years. Some worms, like the tape worm can lay up to 1 million eggs a day.

How do we get parasites?
Parasites can come from those who are active outdoors or those who have children who are active outdoors. People around pets or other animals are prone to parasites. Eating uncooked meat or unwashed fruits and vegetables may also pass parasites. People can easily pass parasites from one person to the other. Some parasites can enter through the souls of the feet if walked on barefoot.

Colds & Flus                                                                                                                        People's environment may becomes invaded with viruses that may develop colds and flus. Over 200 viruses are responsible for developing the common cold, often a rhinovirus. Cold symptoms are usually less mild then the flu and would include symptoms of coughing, sneezing, stuffy nose, and sore throat. The flu (also called influenza viruses) can cause more severe symptoms including fever, head aches, fatigue, exhaustion, weakness, chest discomfort, coughing, and  diarrhea. Complications of flu include getting an infection in your lungs (pneumonia) or of your ears, nose and throat.

The bodies reaction with a cold or flu.                                                                                When catching a cold or flu virus, the body goes into an elimination mode. The body produces mucus to conglomerate and trap the virus. The body coughs the mucus in order to eliminate the cold or flu. This process allows the virus to be passed onto others. The virus enters the body through the nose or mouth. The immune system starts producing antibodies to fight off the invasion of the cold or flu virus. Symptoms of the virus occur one to four days after catching the virus. Children are two to three times more likely to catch a cold or flu. Those who are elderly, experience asthma or other respiratory conditions may be at risk for more severe conditions when catching the flu such as pneumonia and other infections.

About Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is determined by two numbers,(systolic) measures the blood pressure against the walls of the arteries and veins when the heart is pumping. Diastolic measures the same pressure when the heart is at rest in between pumps. Normal blood pressure should be at or under 120/80. It is estimated that one in every three people have high blood pressure. 33% of those who have high blood pressure experience no symptom and don't know they have high blood pressure. If high blood pressure is not managed properly it may promote risks of heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, heart disease and other health risks.

Cause of High Blood Pressure
Many things can be linked to high blood pressure including age, gender and lifestyle. Some may be more prone to high blood pressure but it is important to note that anyone can develop high blood pressure. The liver converts fats into cholesterol. Bad cholesterol (LDL) has been known to clog up arteries and veins resulting in high blood pressure. 96% of the red blood cell is water. If we become dehydrated the blood may thicken causing high blood pressure. Stress and anxiety may cause a production of hormones that may raise heart rate and cause high blood pressure.

About Cancer.
Cancer is abnormal cell growth in the body. When these mutated cells are constructed by the DNA, the immune system attacks these cells preventing any further damage.
How cancer may develop in the body.
In order for a cancer cells to thrive, the body has to provide the right environment. Free radicals are toxins with missing electrons. These toxins are on a mission to balance themselves. These damaging free radicals steal electrons from the body's structured atoms. When the body is overly toxic with free radicals, the greater chances for cancer cells to develop. When electrons are taken from the DNA, the DNA strain constructs a mutated cell (cancer cell). If the immune system is weak, then the immune system can't destroy this mutated cell. This allows for more mutated cell growth. Over time these cancer cells conglomerate into a tumor. Cancer cells feed off of large amounts of glucose (sugar). The more sugar in the system, the faster the tumor has the ability to grow.

Cancer can spread.
Cancer cells may grow uncontrollably.  These cells have the ability to break off, enter the lymph fluid and/or blood stream, and set up in other parts of the body.

Ways you may help prevent and fight off cancer.
Everyone is at risk with cancer. Simple lifestyle changes may help prevent and help fight cancer. Anti-oxidants are foods and supplements with extra electrons. These anti-oxidants are looking to give electrons to free-radicals. This process may help in reducing the free radical's damage to other cells and DNA.
Free radical toxins can come from the food we eat, the water we drink, and the environment we live in. Detoxifying helps the body in eliminating toxic free-radicals. It is recommended that everyone detoxify their body two to four times a year depending on lifestyle.
Keeping a strong immune system may also help fight off cancer cells and prevent the formation of tumors.
Not all cancers are the same. Talk to your healthcare provider before making any lifestyle changes.
